Key Roles and Responsibilities Analyze stakeholder requirement specifications and expectations Clarify and negotiate stakeholder requirements (especially with the customer) Analyze the impact of the stakeholder requirements on the system and, if necessary, coordinate with the internal experts Specify and structure system requirements in the requirement management tool (Polarion) Create the system and architectural design and define HW/SW interfaces Analyze and describe system behavior using simulation tools such as MATLAB / Simulink Specify and execute system integration and system level tests, or coordinate with external testing centers Organize and take part in design reviews on system level and in different development domains (HW, SW, ME) Work according to the ASPICE processes Work to meet project deadlines Job Requirements and Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelor or Master degree preferred in Electrical Engineering Experience in Power electronics (control designs, acquisition definition, filtering, simulation…) Electronic HW development knowledge (analog acquisition, signal conditioning) Know how of motor control and inverter functions English skills (at least Level B2) Also Valuable Experience with requirements management tools (e.g. Polarion, DOORS, Visure) Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) experience Experience in functional safety according to ISO 26262 SW development of embedded systems with focus on communication interfaces Know how in automotive software development Experience in On-Bord-Diagnostic (OBD) Basic German skills Technical Skills Power Electronics Design Basic understanding of Hardware circuit design Motorcontrol and inverter functions MathWorks MATLAB / Simulink, System Composer Requirement Engineering CAN communication (protocol level), CANalyzer/ CANoe Soft Skills Ability to work independently with a high degree of personal responsibility Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to influence others, set direction and priorities.
