Service Line Specialists provide deep expertise in a Service Line Practice Area to support the Client Leadership Team to close new and expansion opportunities on accounts. They are actively involved in growing the service line’s footprint and assisting the Client Partner to engage clients with service line opportunities. In this role, the Service Line Specialist will balance client/project responsibilities with business development and sales responsibilities including identifying, qualifying and closing new business opportunities that align with their specialism. The position also requires working with and leveraging a top-notch client leadership team. The individual will be responsible for overseeing high quality delivery while developing strategies and tactics for further penetrating the account in addition to cross selling Cognizant’s emerging services. The Service Line Specialist will support the Client Partner in achieving “trusted advisor” status and have a mix of strategic and tactical management experience.

We are seeking several Service Line Specialist (SLS) to join our Quality Engineering & Assurance (QE&A) team. The SLS role is growth focused and strategic, offers the candidate a unique opportunity to drive business growth while working alongside senior client leaders and Cognizant leaders.
Service Line Specialist – QE&A Key Responsibilities:

  • To identify, qualify and close new business opportunities in QE&A space. Demonstrate Cognizant’s QE&A capabilities to best address the current and transformative needs of clients.
    To nurture client relationship and establish a consultative / “trusted advisor” status with prospects and clients as they transform their landscape from traditional QA to digital QA
  • To deliver profitably the net new business for Cognizant from existing and new client Logos.
  • To design and drive account penetration plans and maximize Cognizant wallet share in the target accounts and prospect logos.
  • To contribute to the overall QE&A competency development, developing GTM collaterals (Go to Market) and other business development initiatives.
  • To be the responsible and accountable leader in client interactions, representing Cognizant QE&A, including business review meetings, key opportunities meetings, escalation meetings, client planning & budgeting meetings etc.
  • To drive the business development efforts for new opportunities. This includes
  • Leading the solution design, value articulation and pricing for all opportunities presented in the form of RFPs / RFIs / pro-active proposals
  • Leading client interactions during deal qualification, proposals, presentations, deal negotiation and contract Management
  • Working closely with delivery teams and Centers of Excellence teams to bring together the “best of Cognizant” solution, pricing & value proposition for customers
  • Service Line Specialist – QE&A Qualifications:
  • Quality Engineering and assurance skill family
  • Excellent knowledge and proven experience in continuous integration, devops and agile testing
  • Knowledge of the industry standard tools for testing
  • Excellent knowledge of the application development lifecycle
  • Diploma in computer science
  • Ability to program and test code (high level)
  • Proven sales experience (2 years)
  • Good existing industry networks
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent German speaking skills
  • Proven Track record of winning and growing Quality Engineering & Assurance business in new logos and existing accounts.
  • Proven track record of successfully qualifying, pursuing and winning large and strategic QE&A deals and integrated deals.
  • Expertise in the subject matter areas related to QE&A space as listed below:
  • Deep understanding and hands on experience of agile methodologies including devopspipelines and POD functioning, system architecture, databases, web services
  • Expertise in test management, defect management, metrics management, estimation, test design, test execution
  • Awareness of the industry tools and products used in CI/CD, automation, performance, security, test Management, defect Management, configuration management
  • Proven expertise and experience in engaging senior level executives and enabling fundamentals of business change through business consulting & technology solutions
  • Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills – business fluency in English
  • Experience in working with vendor management / procurement organizations
  • Proven track record in working collaboratively in a virtual and highly-matrixed environment particularly with highly diverse and onshore/offshore teams
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

Wir suchen Sie.» The Research in Orthopedic Computer Science group (https://rocs.balgrist.ch) of the University Hospital Balgrist, University of Zurich, is now accepting applications from graduated PhDs with a computer science or engineering background. Within the context of the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNF) research project 3D LEDECO ("Simulation-Based Surgical Planning for Optimized Leg Deformity Correction: https://rocs.balgrist.ch/en/research/research-projects/3d-ledeco-173/ ) we are looking for a Post-Doc 80-100% (m/f), starting early 2021 Ihre Aufgaben in the field of biomechanical simulation for computer-aided surgery. Current state-of-the-art methods for surgery planning of lower-extremity deformity correction rely on CT-reconstructed anatomical patient models. As the CTs are acquired in supine position (lying patient), important factors such as weight-bearing and joint load cannot be taken into account in the preoperative simulation which compromises the overall outcome of the procedure. With the LEDECO project we want to enable 3D preoperative planning under weight-bearing conditions by means of computer simulation based on rigid body dynamics and finite-element analysis. The simulation will permit the transformation of non-weight-bearing 3D models of a patient's leg (femur, tibia, fibula, foot), obtained from conventional computed tomography data, to a weight-bearing pose, and will allow us to predict changes in the clinical parameters of the patient based on the planned correction. The Post-Doc with a computer graphics, simulation and biomechanical background will work in developing and improving a simulation strategy capable of simulating different leg poses and loading conditions. The Post-Doc must use a given simulation environment (ArtiSynth) to extend an existing leg model with soft tissue structures for which patient-specific material properties have to be derived. Successful candidates will have the possibility to participate in an innovative and fully founded research project in which cutting edge surgical planning technologies will be developed. The Post-Doc will benefit from the unique research environment of the ROCS group and the outstanding facilities of the University Hospital Balgrist and its associated research campus. The Balgrist University Hospital is one of the most renowned orthopedic centers in Switzerland with an international reputation.
