Supplier Quality Assurance Manager

This function will permit to strongly reduce reliability issues in the field and decrease the impact to GFMS warranty costs the main activity consists of:

  • Ensure ISO 9001-14001-18001 compliance and support the Company in granting final certification
  • Be a leader in problem solving activities, training and deployment internally and at Supplier side according 8D methodology or equivalent methodologies;
  • Ensure and develop necessary KPI to monitor Supplier and Production performance (quality related) ;
  • To lead Process Audits at Supplier side as part of Supplier Quality Assurance program, claim management, and continuous improvement scope;
  • To lead and coordinate Incoming inspection and monitoring of internal nonconformity management (assembly and final control as well as external stocks) ;
  • Ensure monitoring of critical to quality topics involving project, production and testing activities;
  • Ensure Control Plan definition and compliance for the different product categories ;
  • Be promoter and lead Visual Management application in the Plant ;
  • Ensure and manage the Non-Conforming process with a focus on market and production nonconformitites;
  • Escalate promptly to Head of Quality if company targets can be compromised
  • Report Global and local KPI on the basis of department and TU targets defined
  • Special activity: Internal auditor, external auditor

Bachelor in Mechanical or Material Engineering

    • At least 5 year as Supplier Quality Manager or 10 as Supplier Quality Engineer and management of midsize teams (5-10 persons). Automotive, aeronautic, machine tool domain

    • Italian; Mother Longue. English; fluent. German : elementary

Communication Specialist.

 

 

The Role:


The Communications Specialist will support the regional Communications team and the business in the implementation of programs and vehicles that communicate the company’s strategy, goals and ongoing progress to both internal and external audiences. With a strong focus on demonstrating the company’s purpose to shape a sustainable world together, your day-to-day activities will include developing story telling ideas and writing articles to feed social media as well as internal communication channels. Develop top-management presentations including data gathering, structuring and design. Coordinate and manage external and internal communications flows (social media, intranet, newsletters, tools, etc.). Organize virtual and in-person events. Ensure fulfilment of related administrative flows such as handling of external agencies, processing of invoices, budget tracking, creating reports, pictures handling and further GDPR compliance management. Coordinate the European CSR council and the CSR champions within the region. This role will report to the Regional Manager Communications.


Your responsibilities:

  • Corporate content publishing and targeting in alignment with global and regional communications team by feeding the social media channels and creating articles for both internal and external audiences.
  • Manage content and updates for intranet and website to inform employees and external stakeholders, including content evaluation and reporting
  • Organize virtual and in-person employee events, media events, leadership events
  • Create Leadership presentations by structuring complex data into comprehensive storylines and design audience-tailored communication
  • Tracking the Budget and GDPR compliance, vendor management
  • Coordinate European CSR council and the CSR champions within the region, CSR site champion Küsnacht and develop and support community programs in Switzerland

 

 Your background and personal skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications or a related field; Business administration.
  • 1-3 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations or marketing.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) skills in English and German, additional good knowledge of a third language in French or Italian is a plus.
  • Team player who can work independently and has ability to lead project teams.
  • Demonstrated creativity and ability to work with digital tools and social media.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft tools.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Digital Graphic & Motion Designer with experience in the Luxury industry, you will support the creation of assets in various formats (e.g. animations, still assets, videos etc.) and for different platforms (e.g. social media, search & display ads, etc.) for the portfolio of premium and luxury brands served by Cornelius & DLG within the watchmaking, jewellery, fashion, lifestyle, private banking and real estate sectors.

Your ability to turn briefs into fine & effective design gems while mastering luxury codes and respecting our clients' brand design DNA will help them shine and achieve their goals!

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with Project Managers to take ideas from concept to execution on time and on budget
  • Translate creative concepts into relevant, innovative and impactful visual designs
  • Develop structured storyboards and mood boards
  • Deliver designs that are creative, useful, and aligned with technical and brand standards 
  • Animate dynamic content for various media & platforms, including but not limited to social media assets, web, newsletters, etc.
  • Enhance the storytelling of videos by adding effects/animated graphic elements 
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas
  • Meet with clients or internal marketing team to understand needs and share ideas
  • Transpose ideas and guidelines into relevant graphic assets
  • Ensure assets compatibility and relevance depending on the objectives/formats, notably on  UI / UX aspects
  • Stay up to date on trends, tools and new technologies
  • Research and analyze best design techniques and solutions to create motion graphics.

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Able to work with different types of clients and to adapt the content to the client’s industry and brand guidelines
  • Have a perfect sense of layout structures, typography, design rules, etc.
  • Knowledge and interest for social media creative and innovative formats (e.g. vertical, videos, etc)
  • Mastery of after effect and animation tools
  • Proficiency on the following software suite: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, aftereffect), sketch/Figma (will be tested)
  • Leverage feedback to consistently improve quality
  • Familiarity with Luxury design and art codes
  • Familiarity with watchmaking design codes and standards a strong plus 
  • Good time management skills
  • Basic HTML and CMS knowledge are a plus

COMMUNICATION

  • Native or fluent in French (will be tested)
  • Written and oral proficiency in English

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

  • At least 3 years experience in graphic design/motion design (freelance or agency)
  • Experience working in a creative studio or as part of an agency 
  • Experience with designing for the Luxury industry or premium brands (preferably in watchmaking, jewellery, fashion, hospitality, automotive, private banking)
  • Experience working with digital teams, and/or eCommerce and be comfortable working in a collaborative manner.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing strong digital design/animation skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or Visual Communication preferred

For our System Test Team based on Novazzano, Switzerland, we are looking for a System Test Engineer.

Key responsibilities:

  • Cooperate to design products with high focus on quality in terms of performance, robustness, re-usability, serviceability and maintainability of the solutions, driving end-to-end system verification test campagns
  • Formulate, execute and document tests at SW system level
  • Run Intensive Non_functional testing (Load, Endurance, Stress testing)
  • Cooperate with other team members and project managers in order to deliver best in class products driving the best quality at the right time.

We are looking for a candidate whit these requirements:

  • Able to be open to new ideas and able to implement them, challenging the "way it has always been done", and managing the process of change with all its implication on systems
