Are you a Development Engineer Electronics and keen to work for a medical device company? Then read on! This is initially a contract for one year, with high chances for extension.
How your daily tasks will look like:
- Technical processing of project orders (requirements, concepts, specifications, development, risk analysis, V&V, product care)
- Design, development, verification and maintenance of PCBAs with analog and digital circuits
- Design, development, verification and maintenance of firmware on microcontrollers
- Assistance in the execution of comparative studies
- Independent systematic analysis and development of solution proposals
- Involvement of experts from various disciplines (software, mechanics, electronics, biology, chemistry, statistics and optics)
- Cooperation with external development partners and suppliers
- Supervision of module and instrument test stations within R&D
- Creation of small test functions (test scripts, mechatronic setups)
- Documentation of activities performed and knowledge gained
What the ideal candidate brings along:
- Completed studies (university, ETH, technical college) in the field of electrical engineering or a comparable course of study
- At least 3 years of professional experience as a development engineer in the described field of activity
- At least 3 years of professional experience in the practical application of a C programming language as well as firmware development on microcontrollers (ideally with IAR Workbench)
- Very good knowledge in the use of an ECAD tool (ideally Mentor)
- Very good technical understanding of mechatronics (mark in CV)
- Very good knowledge of German (min. C1) and good knowledge of English (min. B2), both written and spoken, are required
- Experience with C# and Matlab is an advantage
- First work experience in medical technology is an advantage
- Perseverance and exact way of working to penetrate the existing product complexity
- Quick comprehension and ability to work in a team
