<p>Valperca SA, the leading pike perch and perch producer in Switzerland, is looking for a fish farming technician for its warm-water RAS grow-out facility in Susten & Raron in the canton of Valais/Switzerland</p><h2>Tasks</h2><ul><li>Work in production (e.g. feeding, grading, cleaning) </li><li>Monitoring fish stocks and important plant parameters </li><li>Assistance in the maintenance and repair of technical equipment </li><li>On-call and weekend duties alternating with colleagues </li><li>Assist in processing when needed</li></ul><h2>Requirements</h2><ul><li>Reliability, commitment and physical strength </li><li>A strong sense of responsibility and respect for the animals </li><li>Ability to work and positively communicate in a team and to work independently </li><li>Willingness to learn and the will to understand the processes in the plant </li><li>Experience in and creative mechanical problem solving as a plus</li><li>Good level of German and/or English is required</li><li>Driving license is needed</li><li>Swiss or EU citizenship is mandatory for obtaining a work permit for this position</li></ul><h2>Benefits</h2><ul><li>A varied job in the field of state-of-the-art aquaculture technology combined with a high degree of personal responsibility</li><li>The opportunity to further develop your knowledge in the operation of a large recirculation system or to learn new things</li><li>A full-time position in a dynamic, multicultural team</li><li>Entry by arrangement</li></ul><p>A small, highly motivated team full of energy that is looking forward to meeting you!
